Covid-19 Summer Update

The AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and the PVMA (Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association) have advised animal hospitals to restrict seeing patients during the hottest part of the day, so with the summer heat already upon us, we decided not to schedule appointments, unless, of course, it is an emergency, from 11:30 am till 4pm.

We have also decided to offer clients the opportunity to leave their pets with us, for pick up later in the day, if the pet needs an extensive work up (bloodwork, x-rays, etc.) This kind of testing can take 30 minutes or more, so rather than asking the you, the pet owner to wait in your car, you can leave your pet with us, so that you can go home to more comfortable temperatures.

We are also able to allow a maximum of 2 clients in the waiting room if leaving the pet is not an option. Clients would be asked to wear a mask, and wait in a designated area, a minimum of 6 feet away from anyone else.

Once again, thank you for your cooperation!
